The Tale of Mrs. Victoria!

So I thought a nice way to kick off would be for me to formally introduce you to Victoria! I mentioned her in my "Welcome" post, but lets get a little more detailed my friends! Long ago, when we were poorly dressed, naive preteens, Victoria and I met in our seventh grade health class, "Vim, Vigour, Vitals." Little had we known this would change our lives completely! Ever since that day in Vim, Vigour, Vitals we were two peas in a pod. Now it took a little while to realize how incredible this friendship really was, but we found that there was no way we could possibly live without each other. Victoria and I went on to become the coolest best friends ever and discovered Gilmore Girls.

Literally, Gilmore Girls would forever be the Dictionary of Kayla & Victoria...no joke. The lives of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore are known by all cool people. Hop on that train people, it's on Netflix now, get with it. Another story for another time...tangent number one! Now while Gilmore Girls is pretty much our bible and the sappy, feel-good go to of our Best Friend TV Show collection, we would soon dig ourselves an even bigger hole. The show of all shows.

The Office, people. The Office. Victoria and I have since then been able to converse completely in Office quotes and we don't go a day without thinking of something Michael Scott has said that directly applies to whatever we happen to be doing at any given time. Thank you Michael Scott.

Now since Victoria and I happen to become a tad over invested in our interests of the time there are far more amazing shows, hobbies, books, etc. that I could tell you about, but we'd be here all day and this is already turning into a small novel. So, I am going to move on, however, I can tell you now that Once Upon A Time, Michael Buble, Leonardo DiCaprio, Disneyland, and Kate Spade may come up at some point...

Yes. Yes we do.

So after only about two years a terribly tragic thing happened. I moved seven hours away to California. Insert ugly cry now...

Worst day ever. So fast forward because that was the most depressing thing that ever was.

We then spent the next four years just trying to make it through high school and living with our parents...so basically hell. Let's just say thank goodness for phones!!! Throughout this time we basically talked to each other during every free moment we possibly could, i.e. very expensive phone bills!

Now we had seen each other off and on when it happened to be convenient for our parents to drive us at least halfway, but the ultimate Victoria/Kayla catch up excersion didn't happen until we graduated high school in 2012: Disneyland. Now this trip was so magical that it will have to be its own post. Epic Disney action my friends. Epic.

So after Disneyland we proceeded to have the worst summers ever. Fast foward again!

Then, something magical happened! Victoria fell in loooovvvve!!!!!!! Enter Shane! Shane is now Victoria's lovely husband!! I threw Victoria a pretty awesome bachelorette party. There was cake, there were games, there were mustache ballons. Her wedding was, well, Victoria! It was small and absolutely charming! It was so pretty and magical!! If anyone knows how to throw a party it's Victoria. After their lovely wedding Shane and Victoria hauled off to Disneyland (are you sensing a trend here?) and then they made their way to BYU Idaho where they are currently becoming more educated!

We continue to talk everyday because the world would obviously come to an end if we didn't! That's about as exciting as we get currently, but just you wait until we see each other next. Amazing things will happen!!

So that is the short version of our eight years of awesomeness! Victoria is the most amazing person I know and I would definately die if she didn't exist! She is super nice, smart, and just the best best friend ever.

Plus she's pretty ;)
