Hello again! So in spirit of yesterday’s post I have decided that today’s post will be total and complete Gilmore Girls raving action! What?! That’s right, you heard me! What’s more fun than talking about the two coolest women ever?! Nothing people. Also, there will be spoilers in this so be warned. Gilmore Girls is the best show ever. It will always make you feel better and suddenly make you crave pizza…like a lot of pizza…and also ice cream…and if you like coffee, that too.

Okay, first off, if you don’t know what Gilmore Girls is, one, shame on you, two, go binge watch the entire series on Netflix sans season seven. Seriously, I’m warning you now, if you watch season seven just know you will be suuuuuuuuuper disappointed. All you need to know is that Luke and Lorelai get together at the last possible second and Rory goes off on a big journalism project…surprise, surprise.

Alright, so like I mentioned in my Victoria post, Gilmore Girls is our go to, close to our hearts, most favorite TV show of all time. Watching Gilmore Girls is like the landmark of the start of Kayla and Victoria, so we may be biased………Nope! It’s just awesome! Watching Gilmore Girls is like sleeping in your own bed after sleeping in a cheap hotel for a week. It’s like coming home to the smell of your mom making cookies. It’s like cuddling up with a new issue of Martha Stewart Living and a Bath and Body Works “Sweater Weather” candle lit. Gilmore Girls is the comfort of all comforts. The minute you hear “Where You Lead” (some good old Carole King) and see the orange filtered picture of trees you know it’s going to be just lovely!

Why we love Lorelai Gilmore: Lorelai Gilmore is the cool mom we all secretly wish we had! On the other hand she got pretty lucky to get a daughter born with responsibility in her DNA. Lorelai is just all in all awesome. She’s witty, she’s poised, she’s hilarious. As much as I love Rory there’s a good chance I would be a little annoyed by her without Lorelai. Lorelai is the queen of talking, it may sound weird, but she is. She always has something quick and charming to say in literally any given situation…and she gives the best advice!

Why we love Rory Gilmore: She is her mother’s daughter. Lorelai number two, literally (her full name is Lorelai!) Aside from the charming traits passed down from her mother like the coffee and the talking we love Rory because she’s good! Like too good to be true…until she has her little fling with married Dean…that was stupid…but even so, we still love her! She’s just the girl that keeps to herself and reads all the time, who’s also pretty! She’s also super lucky. She gets both Dean (when he’s still cute) and Jess Mariano for boyfriends! That’s like the equivalent of winning the lottery in the boyfriend department!!

Like I mentioned, Lorelai and Rory are generally awesome, cool, “I wish I were you” people alone, but they are just soooooo much better together!!! Their conversations are just…magical. Watching them talk to each other is always amusing and tends to cause a little jealousy that I can’t be that cool.

Now this is just a mini rant on my favorite TV show and I won’t bore you so one last thing and I’ll be done!
Five of my favorite (not top favorite, how could I ever choose?!) GG moments!
Rory. Tristan. Books. PJ Harvey. Dean. LOVE!!!! When Rory tells Dean she loves him for the first time it is literally the best “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” moments ever! Every time I watch it I become a total girl and get all gushy…wait what? I’m already like that all the time?? Oh that’s right, I am! But seriously guys. Great scene.
Lorelai’s married-to-Luke-and-pregnant-with-his-twins dream. BEST. DREAM. EVER.
Rory and Jess making out. Some may say “Ew.” I say “Aw!” sue me. They are just so cute and he is so hot.
Rory and Jess deciding on a movie…okay, here it goes…”AAAAAWWWWWWW!!!!!!!” I can’t help it! He was, will, and will forever be my favorite of Rory’s boyfriends! I couldn't find a video for this so all the more reason to go watch every episode until you find this scene.
Luke pushing Jess off of a bridge is always going to be funny to me no matter how many times I watch it.
Okay my dear readers! That is all for now! I could talk about Gilmore Girls for ages and ages, but I won’t…at least not right now! Go throw on your pajamas, grab the mallomars and get your Gilmore Girls on, that’s an order.
