Okay everyone! I said I was going to make a crafting post so here goes! I learned this easy and adorable craft from Victoria and her lovely mother! (Thank you Gariepy Gals! Yes I just called you that.)

So what is the craft?? Decorated matchboxes!!!

So cute! These are all ones I stole from my second family (The Gariepy's!) And the last one with the flower was from Victoria's wedding! Clever girl she is!

Okay so first with what you'll need:

A matchbox of course!! I just got a big pack at the dollar store

Pretty paper of your choosing! You can do one pattern of paper or two seperate ones, I chose the same pattern, but different colors

Scissors, a pencil, and either glue OR double sided tape

And last you'll need some pretties! Doo-dads and hoozits! Some razzle! Some Dazzle!

Okay, now for the fun part!!

Step one: trace the edges of your matchbox onto the backside of your paper. You'll need to do this to both pieces of paper!

Step two: cut out your rectangle...I cut mine a little bit smaller than what I traced.

You should end up with two small pieces of paper that will fit your matchbox.

Step three: Simply tape or glue the paper to each side of your matchbox...you don't want one cute side and one ugly side!

Step four: Decorate it! You can decorate one side or both! I opted to do both!

Step five: Light a candle and voila!

These make fun party favors and even cute little gifts for co workers or friends!

Enjoy your pretty matchboxes!
