Hello again friends! It's been nearly a month since my last post...oops! I am super busy guys. Seriously, like suuuuuuper busy! I'm sorry! I try! So here I am trying to make it up to you!

Todays post, I've decided, is about that horrible depression that comes with the end of a tv show. That's right, I'm bringing it up...must I remind you all of The Office??? I think we all experience at least a little hint of sadness when this happens, unless you don't watch tv...crazy. This strange overwhelming feeling of sadness that doesn't seem logical, but you just can't help it...that is what we are talking about people. This all comes up because, unfortunately, Parenthood is ending.

Oh crap. Now there have been many shows far more important than Parenthood that have ended such as The Office and Gilmore Girls and those are probably the rock bottom of TV show ending depression, but even so, getting through the end of a decent show still causes some feels. So I've made a list of things that happen and what we need to do to help this dark, empty time, here we go...

1. Finding out your show's next season is going to be its last.

(Ugh, brat.) But seriously guys. This is literally my reaction when I found out something so wonderful, so mesmerizing, so useless to my productivity in life is ending. "How can they just end it?! How am I supposed to live with not knowing what the future is for all these ficticious characters??!!! My life sucks. Why does this happen to me? Ugh." That is the general thought process. Mostly just mad with the slightest hint of sad, but mostly just really pissed off.

With that said, the way to deal with this is to just don't think about it from here on until the last three episodes. When it does accidentally creep into your noggin accept the anger for five minutes and then just forget about it! No matter how bad it is now it's going to be soooo much worse when the show actually ends...conserve your energy. There will be tears.

2. The Final Season.

(Hate her.) This is the unfornunate time where you find out if it's going out with a bang or slowly dwindle away in an overall crap attempt at a goodbye. Let's talk Gilmore Girls for a moment...ha...yeah right...give me a few moments. So Gilmore Girls was just amazing. Sure it went through its ups and downs, but the final season was the downs of all downs. It was so bad I can't even begin. Now I realize Amy Sherman Palladino wasn't on this season, but it was sooooo bad!! So bad. I mean anticlimactic, wasteful, crappy, crap! Now when this happens it's like a double whammy! Not only are you grieving the loss of this wonderful show, but it let you down in the last minute! Why?!

3. The Last Three Episodes

Get ready, this is where it begins. You can see the end in front of you. It is definately coming and you can feel it! These three weeks are like premourning weeks. You can feel the sadness coming on and you just feel like sighing a lot in hopes that a higher power or someone bigshot in the TV world will somehow make a last minute change and renew it for at least 12 more seasons.

4. The worst of all...the finale.

This is explanation enough. I can't even talk about it...

5. The aftermath

"No really I'm fine! Nothing happened, I'm okay!" This is the dialogue you will have with so many people over the next one to three weeks. After it's all over, then what?? You are stuck feeling like someone died. You are so depressed that you don't want to see anyone, but you also feel ridiculous because, helloooo, it was just a show. JUST A SHOW??? JUST A SHOW????

The only way you will make it through this terrible depression is binge watching repeats, crying, and a heck of a lot of ice cream. Just know you aren't alone and the depression will end...the hopes that your show will one day come back will never go away...sorry guys...seriously though, Gilmore Girls reunion??? Please. I will pay money...
