Let's Try This Again...

What do you know! Here I am, back again…sorry! My last post was such a downer! Let’s face it though, we all have our emotional ups and downs and I think that it’s important we are honest and open about those, it’s no pleasant to hold it all in! I think later on I’ll make a post about mental health, but for now I’d like to skip over a life update and restart my 30 Day Writing Challenge! This time around I’m choosing to do a challenge that is all about music. Each day I’ll pick a song for a different occasion or feeling based on a list, thank you internet! Let’s start!

Day 1.

What is your favorite song?

My favorite song often changes and I honestly don’t know if I could pick just one. There are certainly songs that I will always love and make my heart a little warmer every time I hear them! For the sake of today’s prompt I’ll pick my current favorite song, but it’s bound to change! Recently I found two singers on YouTube that I really enjoyed and discovered that they started their own band. Separately their names are Rusty Clanton and Tessa Violet. They make lovely music! Their band together is called People You Know and their first cd is called Leaves and Branches. It is so good. SO GOOD. It’s so cheery and romantic and lighthearted. My favorite song is one that they sang together on Tessa’s YouTube channel before the cd I believe, at least that’s where I heard it first. It’s called Do You Love Me Too and it’s the most romantic, adorable, make your heart flutter, all the sighs, song I’ve heard in a very long time. The minute I watched them sing it together I wanted to die and melt and force them down the aisle so they could live happily ever after. It’s so happy and romantic that it almost makes you sad. If you watch Gilmore Girls as religiously as I and for as long as I have you understand.
